We are pleased to welcome Communikey into the fold as our latest Percussion Lab contributor!

Having established themselves as purveyors of fine electronic music and multimedia arts in the greater Boulder, CO area, the Communikey (CMKY) crew is gearing up to present a series of regular podcasts and blog features to our site, starting today with an excellent recording from Konque - who some of you may already know as the collaborative project between Percussion Lab regulars David Last and Sasha Kline.

Recorded live at the first edition of the Communikey Festival in 2008, this set is remembered fondly by those who were present. Now looking forward to their fifth year, the CMKY team is busily preparing for the 2012 season. They've already started to reveal details for the next festival, which takes place at various venues in Boulder, CO from April 25-29. Experimental pop icon Laurie Anderson is slated to kick off the proceedings with a headlining set at the Boulder Theater, and more artist announcements are going to be released before the holidays.

They're also promoting a Kickstarter campaign to help support the 2012 festival and a forthcoming documentary, which details CMKY's adventures in building their organization and how other DIY organizations can promote forward thinking arts and sustainability programs in their own communities.
