Ruben Alonso Tamayo - a.k.a. Fax - has been a staple artist in the Tijuana-based Static Discos imprint's stable for years. His blissed out rhythms - which he overlays with swathes of reverb-soaked guitar and delicate synthesizer melodies - are on regular rotation around the CMKY office, and we couldn't have chosen a more appropriate artist to close out last year's park party.
